Economic foodies

This weeks menu is primarily based around the bedrock shoulder of pork recipe in economy gastronomy. A recipe book which was based on a TV series which I think they should bring back.

It was awesome!!

Anyway, shopping list was:

– shoulder of pork 2.5k
– pork ribs 800g

I got these at Bevins Butchers in Earl Shilton for £16.50

– Parmesan cheese wedge
– polenta
– Savoy cabbage
– milk
– dried lasagne
– mozzarella
– creme fraiche
– fresh basil
– butternut squash
– peas
– broccoli
– lettuce
